My How Time Flies....

January 15, 1994

Fourteen years later.....

Yep, my how we have changed. We have changed for the better. We have grown together to love each other more and have added two wonderful boys to our family, oh yea, and better hair too!

On this day 14 years ago, I married my best friend; the person I live for; the person I do everything for; the person I will spend the rest of my days with.

LOVE YA, BUN!!!!!

Camping In

After we put the boys in their beds last night - they had ideas of their own. They did all of this themselves. The set up the tent and laid out their blankets on the ground and with their pillows. When we checked on them at about 11 pm, we didn't have the heart to move them to their beds because they had worked so hard to go "camping".

Too Cool Toys

After Christmas the boys got to go to Target to pick out something from a gift card they received. They both picked out toys I don't think I would have and they are pretty cool.

Privacy Please

How is it that boys/men learn so early in life that this is an OK, thing to do in the bathroom. In our house it's also called the library!!!
Also, why is it OK for me to take a picture of Sam doing his business, but not OK for me to take a picture of Kurt?
After taking the picture Sam told me to close the door because he needed privacy!!!

Fun Dip

This really grosses me out a little. I can't believe Matt & Sam love sour candy so much - I can't stand this kind of candy. At one point, Sam just got rid of the utensil provided (which he ate) to get the candy and just used his tongue.

Artsy Attempts

In my attempt to be artsy, fartsy with my new camera, I present to you....

These are recycled Starbucks Frappuccino bottles that hold embellishments in my scrapbooking/guest bedroom.

This is my new favorite thing, Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, courtesy of Kurt's parents. But I feel like such a cheater, since Starbucks is my fave. But I don't feel too guilty, I'll still drink it out of my Starbuck's cup!!!

Mom's Comments

You can never escape your Mom correcting you.
This morning she checked out all the new stuff I did to my blog and she found my errors.
1. Somewhere there is a misspelled word - I still can't find it!!!!!
2. A cliche I used "fallen by the WAY side", I wrote "WAIST side"!!!!
These are two errors I constantly make in my life. I never trust my spelling without spellcheck. I think it is one of the best inventions EVER!!!!
And I never get cliche's correct. One of Kurt's favorite stories of me is when we were at Home Depot buying wood to build Breezer, our dog, a structure. The person checking us out asked what we were doing, I said "We are building a lean tooth for our dog." The person looked of me kinda funny and said "Oh." As we were walking out to the car, Kurt started laughing and said you know it's lean to, not lean tooth. Great, yet again, I look like an idiot.
Funny thing about this post, I had to look up how to spell cliche. And I can't really spell it right because it's suppose to have an apostrophy above the e. So now two of my faults have merged - great, what's gonna happen now?!?!?!?
As for Mom's benefit, she knows I want everything as good as it can be and she corrects me because she knows I will be totally embarrassed if I don't find it myself. Not to mention she's been sick since New Year's day, so she is sitting at her computer looking for stuff to do.
So, thanks Mom for the proof reading and I hope you are better soon - love ya bunches.

New Header

Check it out! I'm am just inventing things to do, so I don't have to do the things I need to. Man, I'm getting pretty good at this avoidance thing!
So, I took our family card, altered it into my new blogger header - do ya love it???

Family Card

Is this not the cutest things ever!!! I've been wanting to create mommy cards for me and I finally did. The left is the front and the right is the back. Now all I have to do is get them printed!
Wonder why I'm doing so many off the wall things? I have a severe case of the "I don't wanna do anything". I mean - NOTHING!!!
I just can't get going since Christmas has passed. Granted things have just gotten back to normal with Sam starting school this week. But I still can't get back in the swing of things. I'm sitting here now at midnight, not tired (probably because of the allergy medicine so I can survive through cedar fever!), watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on Nick (because when Matthew went to be 3 hours ago, I haven't turned the channel) See!!! I really don't want to do ANYTHING!!!!!!
Now, I have done some things. I have cooked dinner for everyone, cleaned (a little), and washed clothes, so things haven't totally fallen to the waist side here. But I'm gonna have to kick it in this weekend to make up for my laziness! But you just watch, I'm gonna be so tired tomorrow, I won't wanna do a thing!!!!

Wagner Look-alike Meter

OK, I saw this on another blog and I had to try it to see if I could fool a computer! Well, apparently all of you are right - Sam does look like me by 4%!!! I think I won the 4% vote simply because of the blonde hair! As far as Matthew, well he looks like both of us, which makes him the perfect combination of both of us! Which is quite amazing since they both have nothing to do with our genes!!!!!!!!! I guess they say, if you are with someone long enough you start looking like them.

Matthew's New Bike

This is the new bike that Matthew chose after Santa left one that was too big! He picked it out because one of his friends that moved had one. He said "I want this one like Gunnar, my best friend, that I miss so much" I think there might have even been a tear in his eye!!!

Did I mention the new bike has a water bottle. Of course, we don't drink from the bottle - we SPIT!

And I got a new camera for Christmas too - I don't think I would have gotten the water spewing from his mouth with the old camera!!!!

Christmas 2007

There were just way too many photos from Christmas to post them all, but here are a few highlights. We went down to Jones Creek to celebrate with my family and had a lot of fun. The boys favorite toy received was the Nintendo DS from Santa and some Cowboy football players for Matthew and a new scooter for Sam.
